meet-ups, throughout the week.

Programs during the 2021-2022 School Year
Sunday Mornings, 10:00 am-12:30 pm: Limud Grades Pre K-High School
Thursday Afternoons, 4:15 pm-6:15 pm: Limud Grades 3-7
Select Thursday Evenings, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm: Teen/ USY Youth Group
Once a month: Teen Shabbat Programs & Youth Programs for grades 5-7
Once a month: PJ Library & Mommy & Me
Every Friday Morning, 9:00 am-12:00 pm: Shalom Play Group drop off program for 2-4 year olds

Recognition of Lisa's work by Gratz College!
As education director for Congregation Tifereth Israel’s K-12 Hebrew school, Lisa Aamodt quickly shifted all programs online. She also found innovative ways to maintain a sense of community and keep students from falling through the cracks. “In New York, the virus hit us hard,” she says. “Not so long ago, there were more cases in our county than in most countries. It was really unnerving, but what was important to me as an educator was continuing to offer programs for our students.”
Lisa immediately transitioned educational programs to online platforms like Zoom. She also launched a mentorship program so students who aren’t attending online classes still have someone to talk to.
With a Master's in Non-Profit Management, Lisa is now working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
